Eric Shepard Md, FCCM
Dr. Shepard is the Director of Anethesia at the Frederick Surgical Center and is the Director of Reginal Anesthesia in Maryland for the North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA). Prior to coming to Frederick, Dr. Shepard spent 17 years on the faculty of the University of Maryland School of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology.  He specialized in both Critical Care Medicine, Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management.  Dr. Shepard lectures nationally on the topic of regional and opiate sparing anesthesia.

Dr. Shepard graduated from the Cornell University Medical College in 1990 and completed his Anesthesiology Residency and Critcal Care Medicine Fellowship at the University Hospitals of Cleveland.  He is Board Certified in both Anesthesiology and Critcal Care Medicine.
